On The Frontline is a new workshop for 2020 and is suitable for Sales, Estimators and Project Managers that we want to encourage to form relationships with their clients.
On the 9.15am – 4pm day we take a step back to ask, do we really know what a sign needs to do for our client?
The aims of the workshop:
How to increase Sales Turnover
Create better communication
Become the consultant
As part of the day we get hands on in the factory to understand the complexity of fitting signs, getting the first hand experience of the products we commonly sell. The delegates will no doubt take away some inspiration from the products displayed across both factories.
The workshop is held across 2 sites of our facilitator SignFab (UK) Ltd based in Leicester, includes refreshments throughout the day and a buffet lunch.
We have designed a very desirable illuminated sample which will be handed out at the end of the course to each delegate. This will add value to any meetings in terms of assisting in visually showing off capabilities on stencil cut and illuminated signage.
"The On The Frontline course was really useful, even after 6 years in sales within the signage industry. I found myself thinking 'I wish this existed when I'd started in the industry' as we all know that working in signage has a steep learning curve!" Nicky Metcalfe - Fastsigns Manchester 5 x members of our team recently attended Sam's "On The Frontline" course held at SignFab in Leicester and had a fantastic day learning about the importance of implementing systems and processes for working and improving communication as a team and towards those we work with.
The timing of this course could not have come at a better time as we have started the New Year addressing these fundamental areas of our business and the course has underpinned this. In some area's the course has highlighted a few areas of weakness within our business which we are now addressing such as picking up the phone and having conversations with people rather than relying on emails. Our attendees ranged from Designers, Project Manager and a Production Manager and was so beneficial and enjoyed by all.
They also carried out some practical signage installation which helped them understand some of the issues and considerations faced by installation engineers which is so valuable when designing and project managing jobs. We have attended the "Education Programme" in the past and the "Dress Down Hands On" course last year and we look forward to seeing what's next from Sam and MIH. "Visited Make it Happen On the Frontline course yesterday 09.01.20, The course was a great help to me regarding the effective use of time management, and also gave me an insight into the sales side of signage. Along with hands on activities that allowed me to see what problems sign fitters could face on site. I found the course very interesting with an excellent balance of classroom, to hands on activities. Sam was very knowledgeable on the sign industry and current trends. Sam’s light hearted approach to the course along with an excellent product knowledge, and a nice lunch!! What more can you ask well done all involved" Simon Bayliss - Production Manager Morgan Signs and Design "Signbox recognises the importance of keeping abreast of the latest production methods, technologies and innovative materials available. Also as an Investor in People company, training courses such as the one “Make it Happen” can offer are vital. Our team at Signbox found the course both stimulating and informative, a must for anyone in the industry no matter their longevity in the business - there is always something to learn".
