Many of you will know our fantastic Katie who for the past five years, has worked incredibly hard to help build Make it Happen into the thriving business it is today. We're thrilled to let you know that, with effect from today, Katie has been promoted to director of Make It Happen! It is fair to say that without her we may never have got our training courses off the ground. She is incredibly hardworking, efficient and conscientious. Thank you Katie! |

Wow wow wow! Not only was it emotional seeing each other in person for the first time in 2 years, we only went and won Supplier of The Year at the Fastsigns UK convention! To say we are delighted/overwhelmed/Sam a tad hungover, is an understatement! Thank you to all the support we received, Katie said she felt more overwhelmed by the cheers and clapping in the room. Amazing night, amazing group of friends. We just Made that Happen! |

Fiercely committed to helping sign businesses succeed, in her new role Sam will focus on working with ISA-UK members to establish future growth strategies allowing them to flourish. March 2021 A year in the life of MIH - 2020! Grab a coffee or beer, it's the weekend & 5pm somewhere, right? and enjoy.... Once upon a time... we started the year 2020 with a ‘boom’ over 200 clients attended 'The Signage Bootcamp' workshop and the year ahead looked exciting. We were that confident we launched 'On the Frontline' as a new workshop in January – 132 staff attended then 'boom', sadly, this 'boom' was not the same 'boom' as before. The Covid Frontline hit us and training came to a standstill. Like many businesses, we didn't go unaffected, sadly we had to make a redundancy ☹ As the days, turned into weeks, we spent the summer months on the phone in padding pools talking to customers, laughing, joking, crying, supporting, and caring... what an eventful time it's been. Corona became Sam’s new best friend (in liquid form, not the virus!) and Katie became aware of home schooling and decided to put it mildly, it's not her bag. However, we survived, we diversified and realised the importance of friends, family and a few corona's along the way – thank you for your support - we hope to see you all soon! |

Mike will be dearly missed for his knowledge and passion for the industry, but for now time to take a well deserved retirement.

Three years ago today, I made the bold move to work for myself as a signage consultant. I did this for a number of reasons, all of which were heightened by the inspiration and support of my family, friends and colleagues. To be honest I was driving them all nuts saying I would do it for years and then one day 27/02/2016……
I had no idea where this was going to take me, I don’t think I have ever worked as hard as I have done in my life (and I have always been a grafter), but I can genuinely say I have never been prouder than when I stand and meet so many new and existing faces with such positive comments, in particular around our training courses. To be told several times last year that I have been an inspiration, well that got me! Me, Sam Armstrong, an inspiration, have you the right person?! I could have pinched myself!

Make it Happen is delighted to announce that from 1st January 2019 until 31st December 2019 all ISA UK full and affiliate members will receive up to £600 financial support towards the cost of attending our workshops and training depending on membership type. This will apply to our Education Programme or the Dress Down Hands On practical training day. Both courses are CPD accredited and are considered beneficial for employees’ career progression and advancement.
In one day, attendees can learn about more techniques and materials than any sign company will deal with in over a month’s work. The benefits are a more educated and enthused work force able to spot more and more lucrative opportunities. These courses are aimed at those who are new into the industry as well as working with those who have had more experience. The courses provide help and guidance so that those missed opportunities become less and less.
Regardless of your level of experience, it is our mission to refresh your signage knowledge and renew your inspiration for the industry with the help of ISA UK.

The course designed for business owners, sales and BDM's to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the true value's in the makeup of signage.
A practical day, 9.15am - 4pm where in collaboration with SignFab (UK) Ltd, we open the doors and allow the 'first-hand' experience with a superb take away to remember your day with us and a great selling tool!
Our new course has become CPD accredited in time for its initial release on the 26th September.

Our success has been built on sharing ideas, products and information and in keeping with this, we thought it would be nice to share some of our success with our clients! We are absolutely delighted to announce the collaboration between the BSGA and Make it Happen. From 1st January 2018, all BSGA members will receive financial support towards the cost of attending our training programme. The BSGA incentive provides new members with £150.00 per person for the first two delegates, plus a £50.00 contribution per delegate for up to six more staff during the membership year. Existing members of the association can also benefit from the incentive. The BSGA will contribute £50.00 per delegate for up to eight members of staff each year for full and affiliate members. |

Katie Asken joined the company. Her customer service, focus, attention to detail and the desire to go above and beyond to help is exactly what we wanted and needed for the company. Katie assists enormously in the day to day running of the business as well as extending her own knowledge to assist our clients.
Katie commented – ‘I am thrilled to be joining Sam at Make it Happen. Having worked together for 8 years previously, it's great to be back together! My role is to work along side Sam as an additional Signage Consultant as well as adding my skills in art & design.'
